Fortnite video game adds free limited edition challenges and items to keep gamers busy

The popular video game, Fortnite, has just updated with some additional content to keep players busy while self-isolating at home during the COVID-19 global pandemic.

The main focus of the update is the new Oro Legendary outfit and his Skellon glider, both of which continue Chapter 2 Season 2's gold theme. While each of these additions cost 2,000 and 1,500 V-Bucks respectively, there's also been some free additions for players to unlock.

In addition to the new outfit and glider, Fortnite players can unlock the new golden Greed Wrap by completing two new challenges and the Gilded Scepter Pickaxe by completing four. 100,000 XP will also be granted for each unlocked challenge which should help players get even closer to completing the current Season 2 timeline if they haven't already.

Here are the four challenges:

  • Assist teammates with 10 eliminations.
  • Play 10 games with a friend.
  • Deal 1,000 damage to opponents.
  • Collect 40 medals.
  • Fortnite is one of the most-popular video games in the world right now and is available to play for free on Xbox One consoles, Windows 10 PCs, and a variety of other platforms.
